I am an alumni of Western Carolina University where I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. I primarily tutor Mathematic and English at all levels. I have written many papers and I excel in writing concisely with proper grammar, punctuation, and flow. I can ensure that I will be able to effectively assist with any written assignments. I also really enjoy helping students with math and I enjoy solving problems. I am well-versed in any level of Mathematics before Pre-Calculus. I am passionate about helping students because I believe that a solid educational foundation is essential to leading a good life. Having a strong basis in core subjects is an important part of being a well-rounded individual. This basis allows one to jump into early adulthood prepared and ready. My approach to teaching and tutoring is to always put my students first. I always focus on understanding the needs of my students and the way that they learn, to maximize learning. Outside of the classroom you could usually find me playing pool, chess, or videogames!
