I received my Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University in English and African American Studies and my Master of Science from Yale University in Engineering and Applied Sciences. As a middle school math and humanities teacher, I kept my students engaged by personalizing my approach and keeping the curriculum relevant with real-world examples and challenges. I am a musician and a sculptor with hopes of becoming an architect and I feel confident as a teacher because art inspires me to learn every day.
