I am an experienced finance industry professional with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others succeed. I hold a Master's Degree in Corporate Finance & Investments from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Missouri, and have developed a deep understanding of the principles of finance, accounting, economics, investment products, and business topics through 8 years of experience working in corporate finance.

In addition to my professional experience, I have a proven track record of tutoring peers, colleagues, and students in finance-related subjects over the course of 4 years and served as lead business tutor of my undergraduate university. My tutoring approach is focused on simplifying complex financial concepts and making them accessible to learners at all levels of knowledge. Outside of my day job and my commitment to helping others learn, I enjoy spending my time with my family and two dogs. We love all things outdoors whether it's hiking, walking, stargazing, grilling, or spending the day at the park. I also enjoy listening to and singing along to music, although not everyone around me finds that part as enjoyable. My favorite study setting looks like a cup of coffee, Jazz music, and plenty of notecards or fun highlighters and pens.
