John received his bachelors in General Studies (2020) and Masters in English (2022) from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. He loves creative writing and has been published in three different issues of NSU's The Talon. John has also independently published two issues of his own literary magazine using material gleaned from small group classes he has taught in the community. He has been teaching and tutoring students in writing as part of Tulsa Community College's Academic Support Team and describes his tutoring philosophy as one of empowering students to realize their full writing potential.
