Physics can feel impossibleI know because I used to struggle with it myself. Everything changed once I shifted my focus from memorizing formulas to understanding why they worked. That mindset led me to earn my degree in Physics from the University of Connecticut. Now, I help students experience that same breakthrough.
My approach is intuition first and math second. The equations become much more natural if you can build a strong mental picture of a problem. I walk students through problems the way physicists originally solved them. By breaking them down logically, making connections, and ensuring every step makes sense, you can experience discovering something new, just like the physicists and mathematicians of the past. Whether you're struggling with coursework, building confidence, or pushing yourself further, I tailor my approach to fit your needs.
Students describe my tutoring style as relaxed, engaging, and conversation-based, making challenging concepts feel approachable. I want learning to feel less like a lecture and more like an exploration. I've always admired Robin Williams' characters in "Dead Poets Society" and "Good Will Hunting," who mentored students to see their potential and think for themselves. That's the kind of tutor I strive to be.
If you're looking for a tutor to help you think like a physicist and build confidence, I'd love to work with you!
