I earned my Master's Degree in Journalism from Florida State University and my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central FloridaGo Knights!

My passion for supporting youth and young adults in their learning and development began over 15 years ago when I served as Director for the Boys and Girls Club. I've also worked as a Senior Behavioral Specialist at Boys Town and taught English, Math, and, more recently, Coding. My commitment to service was truly ignited during my time with AmeriCorps, where I served with City Year, helping to guide struggling schools toward academic success.

In recent years, I've transitioned into the tech field, working with companies like IBM, Nike WHQ, and now the NBA, where I help design training programs focused on technology and coding. While I still enjoy tutoring in English and Math, my true passion lies in teaching coding and data visualization. I'm particularly excited about the impact these skills have across all industriesfrom shaping how we shop, learn, and play sports to understanding weather patterns and much more.

My teaching philosophy is simple: everyone can learn. It's all about recognizing the potential within a student and nurturing it. I tailor my lessons to match each student's unique learning style, ensuring that they receive the support they need to thrive.
