I am a Yale graduate with a Bachelor's in Cognitive Science, focusing on social cognition and philosophy. My background gives me unique insight into how people learn and process information, which I utilize in every tutoring session. I specialize in ACT preparation and college essay writing, having previously tutored AP Physics in high school. My approach focuses on understanding each student's learning style and adapting accordingly. With college essays, I help students find their authentic voice while maintaining academic rigor. For ACT prep, I combine strategic test-taking techniques with thorough content review. I believe effective teaching isn't just about knowing the materialit's about communicating it in a way that resonates with each student. Outside of tutoring, I do a lot of programming and enjoy reading about philosophy and psychology.
