Certified Tutor

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, where my research explored the growth and competitiveness of horticulture in India, a topic that deeply intertwined global trade and sustainability. My passion for economics stems from its power to illuminate real-world challenges and craft evidence-based solutions, and I am eager to share this knowledge with my students.

With over a decade of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and International Trade. My academic journey has been enriched by working in diverse educational settings, from premier institutions like the University of Delhi to leading management institutes, where I have also served in leadership roles, including as a Program Chair. These experiences have shaped my holistic teaching philosophy: one that values curiosity, critical thinking, and the practical application of theoretical insights.

My favorite subject to teach is International Trade, as it encapsulates the interconnectedness of economies and cultures, offering students insights into global economic dynamics and their implications. Whether unraveling the complexities of trade policies or exploring the comparative advantage of agricultural commodities, I strive to make the subject relatable and engaging, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered and adaptable, recognizing that every learner has a unique way of absorbing knowledge. I prioritize breaking down complex concepts into simpler, relatable components while encouraging active participation and critical analysis. My goal is to empower students to not only excel academically but also develop the confidence to approach economic issues with a problem-solving mindset.

Outside of academia, I am an advocate for sustainable development and enjoy exploring the intersections of policy, trade, and environmental sustainability. I also enjoy reading, yoga, and engaging in dialogues about economic trends shaping our world.

Education transforms lives, and I am committed to ensuring my students gain both the skills and the mindset to thrive in their academic and professional journeys.
