Certified Tutor

I am a passionate, certified and license teacher from Manitoba in Canada. I have over 17 years of teaching experience from Nigeria and Canada and I currently work as a teacher in Brandon School Division where I teach English Language and Arts, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Creative Writing and Reading. My highest qualification is Masters degree which I obtained from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State in Nigeria.
I also do private tutoring for adults, elementary and high school children. I am more passionate about reading and spelling, public speaking and creative writing. In my experience helping children who struggle with reading, it's always fun when children get more interested in reading in a very short period of my tutoring classes because of the teaching methodology that I use which stimulates their interest in reading and I have had those who move from being an emergent reader to a fluent reader within a short time.
I also enjoy teaching Creative writing and public speaking.
I am a positive minded person who firmly believe that you can achieve anything you set your mind to do with dedication, consistency and hard work. I ensue to always impart this positivity on all my students beyond just teaching them. In my spare time, I go to gym, aerobics and dance classes.
