I am excited to offer my services as a personal tutor. With a strong background in both education and athletics, I bring a unique blend of skills and experiences that can help students excel academically and personally.
I have extensive experience tutoring Math, where I have helped students of various ages and skill levels understand complex concepts and improve their grades. Currently, I work as an after-school educator in Health & Nutrition, where I teach and mentor a group of 30 students. This role has honed my ability to manage a classroom, create engaging lesson plans, and address the diverse needs of my students.
One of my key strengths is my ability to adapt to different learning styles. As a professional note-taker, I have developed techniques to cater to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed. My education in Pre-Health Sciences from George Brown College, where I graduated with a 3.97 GPA, has provided me with a solid foundation in scientific principles and effective study strategies. As I am currently pursuing a nursing degree, demonstrating my diligence and commitment to my academic and professional growth.
In addition, my experience as a student-athlete; playing basketball in high school and college has taught me the importance of discipline, time management, and perseverance. I understand the challenges that come with balancing academics and extracurricular activities, and I am passionate about helping students navigate these pressures.
I believe that my diverse experiences and empathetic approach make me an ideal tutor. I am committed to creating a supportive and motivating environment where students can thrive.
