Graduating from Georgetown University with a Master's degree in Data Science for Public Policy taught me two things: how to make sense of messy data and how to explain it without sounding like a robot. I've guided classmates and students in unraveling the mysteries of Python and data analysis, often sparking those "aha!" moments that make teaching so rewarding. There's nothing quite like seeing someone go from "What's a dataframe?" to "I've got this!"

Beyond coding and crunching numbers, I love teaching Chinese (Mandarin). Thanks to my bilingual background, I help students not only master the language but also navigate the fascinating cultural nuances that come with it. Whether it's explaining why Mandarin has four tones or helping students order dumplings like a pro, I make learning both practical and fun.

While I dabble in many subjects, my true passion lies in teaching Python basics and data visualization. Why? Because these are the tools that turn numbers into stories, and let's face it, storytelling with data is pretty cool. Plus, they're skills you can use anywherefrom impressing your boss to decoding your online shopping habits.

My teaching style is like a good conversation: filled with questions, curiosity, and just the right amount of humor. I customize lessons to meet students where they are, ensuring they walk away with solid skills and a boost in confidence.

Outside the virtual classroom, you'll find me experimenting with new recipes (some successful, some not), swimming to clear my mind, or watching movies that make me rethink everything. These hobbies not only keep me balanced but also give me plenty of metaphors for explaining tricky conceptsbecause sometimes, coding is like baking a cake: follow the steps, and you'll get something sweet.
