I am an actor, educator, and recent graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University with degrees in Theater and Education Studies. I have over a decade of theatrical experience as a performer, creative team, and production member. My educational philosophy and practice are based on theories of critical pedagogy, specifically critical performative pedagogy, and culturally responsive curriculum building. I have worked with K-12 students of diverse experience across NYC to develop performance skills, healthy social and emotional development, and cultivate self-confidence. I also have worked with twice-exceptional, LGBTQ+, and students of various identities and backgrounds on writing, reading, college applications, and more independently and in NYC public and private institutions. I am passionate and dedicated to contributing to radically inclusive and uplifting young people through developing critical skills in the humanities.
