I am a senior at Florida State University majoring in psychology and minoring in criminology. I am also planning on attending graduate school next year to get my masters in psychology! I tutor psychology, elementary math, reading, and writing. I focus on helping students achieve clarity and mastery in these areas, whether it's reinforcing basic concepts or tackling advanced topics. I will always make sure to tailor my tutoring sessions to the individual needs of each student. My favorite subject to tutor is psychology, because I have dedicated the last five years to mastering all fields of psychology. I've always found joy in seeing others succeed, and there's something deeply rewarding about helping students truly understand a concept. Being part of that process and knowing that I've played a role in their growth motivates me everyday. Education can open so many doors, and I'm passionate about providing students with the tools, confidence, and guidance they need to excel. I have had the opportunity to work with students of various ages, from preschool to elementary school and even helping other college students with psychology courses. Whether helping with homework, exam prep, or building a deep understanding of a topic, I always strive to create an encouraging and engaging learning environment.. My teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive, student-centered environment where learning is engaging and accessible. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to meet their unique needs. My tutoring style is patient, supportive, and collaborative. I am to foster a growth mindset, encouraging students to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles.
