My career thus far has been extremely diverse and unique. I received my bachelor's degree in engineering management from the University of Arizona and my master's degree in geophysics from Texas Tech University. Immediately after graduating with my bachelor's, I started working as a wellsite engineer for a few years. Between earning my bachelor's and master's, I was a graduate assistant and tutor before going back into the oil and gas industry. After a while I developed an interest in software engineering. As a result of pursuing this interest, I've learned how to build and maintain full-stack web applications. Most recently, I was a middle school math teacher at a charter school and I'm currently a student at NJIT pursuing a long-term software engineering career. As a tutor and life-long learner, my goal is to instill in my potential students the enthusiasm to become independent learners.
