I am a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and have been teaching and training people for over 20 years. Currently, I am a loan originator and trainer at The Lending Village, LLC. My experience teaching ranges from giving small, impromptu trainings in the field to Marines, to being a classroom instructor, teaching tech support personnel how to best use their tech support tools and how to troubleshoot complicated devices and systems. Eventually I became fed up with "corporate America" and left to start my own business. This led me to the mortgage industry, and now I am blessed to find myself in my current role as a member of leadership in a wonderful mortgage brokerage. I absolutely love being a mortgage broker, and I wish I had discovered this business 30 years ago! I am very passionate about helping people become homeowners and real estate investors and have become equally passionate about helping aspiring loan officers find the same fulfillment in the mortgage industry that I've found. It is my distinct pleasure to help create the next generation of PHENOMENAL Loan Originators by helping them ace their licensing exams, teaching them how to be effective with systems, and teaching them how to build a book of business. Additionally, I am very passionate about teaching people about financial literacy and generational wealth, especially through real estate investment. My wife and I have served in ministry for over 10 years and are the very proud parents of 6 children. We are also huge advocates for adoption and the foster care system. My hobbies include reading, scuba diving and target shooting.
