I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry with over 12 years of interdisciplinary research experience in water quality, analytical chemistry, and emerging contaminants. My academic journey has allowed me to build expertise in chemistry, and environmental science, and I enjoy translating these complex concepts into clear, relatable lessons for students.

I have 9 years of experience mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in both classroom and laboratory settings. Many of my students have shared that my patience and ability to break down challenging topics into simple steps helped them gain confidence and improve their performance.

I tutor a wide range of subjects including chemistry (general, organic, and analytical), biology, environmental science, and related STEM areas. Among these, my favorite subject to tutor is chemistry, because I enjoy helping students connect abstract concepts with real-world applications, from medicine to environmental sustainability.

My tutoring style is supportive, structured, and student-centered. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my approachwhether that means visual aids, practice problems, or real-life examplesuntil the concept truly "clicks." My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to inspire curiosity and confidence in learning.

Outside of academia, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and cooking, which often connect back to science in fun and unexpected ways. I find that sharing these interests helps build rapport with students and creates a more engaging learning environment.
