With a strong background in cloud computing, cybersecurity, automation, and IT training, I am eager to contribute to Varsity Tutors by delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in these areas.
Throughout my career, I have developed and delivered technical curricula at institutions such as Lighthouse Labs, Sheridan College, and NPower Canada, where I taught subjects including cybersecurity, automation with PowerShell, Linux, Windows, and networking. My experience spans both practical and theoretical learning, and I prioritize hands-on exercises, leveraging tools like Azure, AWS, VMware, Nmap, Wireshark, and more to simulate real-world scenarios for my students. By creating engaging virtual labs, I ensure that students not only understand theoretical concepts but also gain the technical acumen to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.
At NPower Canada, I taught the Google IT course, where I used Azure Cloud and virtual environments to conduct virtual labs, demonstrating tools such as Gnome, VMware, and WinDump. I also mentored students individually, offering personalized guidance to meet their unique learning needs. Additionally, I have continuously worked to foster a collaborative and interactive learning environment through quizzes, forums, and active learning strategies.
My approach to teaching is shaped by a commitment to student success, grounded in my professional expertise in system administration, cloud technologies, DevOps, and IT security.
