I hold a Bachelor's in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Purchase College. Before completing my undergraduate studies, I attended Belmont Abbey College on a full athletic scholarship as a member of their NCAA Division II women's basketball team. My time as a student-athlete instilled in me discipline, perseverance, and teamwork, though a career-ending injury led me to refocus my energy on academics. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Bioinformatics at UNC Charlotte, where I am deepening my understanding of the intersection between biology and data science.

I have experience tutoring students of all ages, with a primary focus on high school and college students in upper-level sciences. I specialize in tutoring biological sciences, chemistry, and math, with a particular enthusiasm for general biology, genetics, and biochemistry. These subjects are my favorite to teach because they combine fascinating concepts with real-world applications, and I enjoy helping students discover their relevance and potential impact.

My tutoring style is patient, adaptable, and focused on each student's unique learning needs. I aim to break down complex ideas into understandable steps and create an engaging learning environment where questions are encouraged and curiosity thrives.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my cat. I also love playing board and card games with them and watching sports, particularly basketball and football.
