Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of both Texas A&M University-Central Texas (formally Tarleton State University) and Webster University. I received my bachelor's degree in social work and a Master of Arts Degree in Management and Leadership. Since graduation, I reside in San Antonio, Texas and work as a human resources specialist for the Department of Air Force. I have always had a passion and love for tutoring. I love teaching the subjects Elementary Math, Middle School Math, and College Math. I love solving complex math equations because it helps to strengthen my critical and problem-solving skills that will help me to arrive at the correct answer. When tutoring students, I am very patient and understanding because I know firsthand that math is not everyone's favorite subject or cup of tea. When tutoring, I enjoy seeing the transformation and progress of where a student begins in his or her own early stage of learning all the way to the ending stage when the problem is solved and completed. As a person who possesses a physical disability, I also have a special place in my heart to work, inspire, and educate students who have learning disabilities and who struggle in their learning. I take great pride in empowering those students as well as in helping them to know that they can reach their full potential and be successful in whatever they put their minds on to do. In my spare time, I enjoy going out to eat, relaxing and spending time with my family, and going to the movies.
