Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota, I received my Master's of Education and Ed.S with a focus on educational leadership and education. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively, tutoring children of immigrants and other students to reduce the gap between grade level and achievement levels of students. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about teaching reading and comprehension to my students. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements). I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. I enjoy the outdoors which enriches my life, yoga, walking, and listening to calming music.
