Certified Tutor

Hello. My name is Hal. I retired from education in 2013 after thirty-one years as a classroom teacher. As an educator, I was certified to teach grades 5-12 in social studies and language arts. I also taught study skills, organization, reading in content areas, and expository writing. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree (education and history) and a Master of Arts in school psychology.
I was married for thirty-three years, have two adult children, and have two dogs, Bruce (mixed breed) and Otter (yellow lab).
I enjoy hiking, biking, reading, and cooking. I currently work as an outdoor educator.
