I am so excited to be your tutor teacher this year. I graduate from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science Teaching and Learning with Cum Laude. I am currently a bilingual teacher for a 1st-grade self-contained, bilingual class in Houston, Texas. I have experience teaching and tutoring in BakerRipley, Alief Independent School District and HISD Houston Independent School District.
I am most passionate about English, Literature, Spanish and Math. In my experience helping struggling students learn English, Spanish language, and prepare for Standardized Tests, we always seem to have the most fun. I love to teach ELLs and ESL student because English is also my second language.
I strongly believe building a positive relationship with fun purpose activities and high expectations is essential to promote student success.
