Certified Tutor

As a tutor with over 15 years of experience working with children, I am dedicated to inspiring a love of learning in students from kindergarten to 8th grade. My diverse background includes tutoring in Math, Science, Reading, Language Arts, and Science. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment that meets each student's unique needs.

I began my educational journey as a little 2nd grader wanting to read to the kindergarteners and help preschoolers learn to count. That 2nd grader went on to become a high schooler then a three times (and counting) college grad, and somehow an English teacher in Thailand. As I matriculated through school, I always volunteered with afterschool programs assisting K-12 students with homework in various subjects. In addition, I tutored college students, in college algebra, liberal arts, statistics and trigonometry. In Thailand, I taught middle and high school aged students English Grammer, Listening and Speaking, and Health. My experience as an English teacher in Thailand enriched my teaching skills and cultural understanding, allowing me to connect with students from various backgrounds.

My academic credentials include two B.S. degreesone in Business Administration from Florida A& M University and another in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Health Care Sciences from Kaiser Universityas well as a M.S. degree in Biomedical Science from Duquesne University. This well-rounded education enables me to provide a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to tutoring.
