I have always been passionate about teaching kids. I graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I was a teacher for 5 years, and in that time, I was successful in leading reading and math interventions for over fifty students including low-income students and students with learning disabilities. I continually search for new strategies to teach skills and to improve the efficiency of my teaching. Not every student learns the same way and so I find it important to keep up to date on all the ways I can teach something. I believe that learning should be fun and applicable to the lives of students.
