I am a graduate of Utah State University with degrees in Psychology (with an emphasis in Adolescent Psychology) and Special Education. I have a Master of Education degree from Western Governors University, an online, accredited university which gives me a unique understanding of being an online student. I have been a public school teacher in the states of Utah and Texas. In addition to teaching, I have been a tutor for students ranging from 3rd grade to college level in reading, writing, and math. Through my work as a teacher, I have experience helping students prepare for standardized tests, including the ACT. I firmly believe learning should be and can be motivating and fun.
