Certified Tutor

I am an undergraduate student at Trinity Western University working towards a Bachelors of Arts in History. I want to help students succeed and reach their full potential as the passion I have for learning makes me want to spread the knowledge I have with others. I have worked online with students in the United States through the Company Tutorpeers, and I was also a peer tutor at my high school in Canada. I tutor a wide variety of subjects including English, French, history, high school geography, astronomy, and music. My favourite subjects to tutor are history, astronomy, and French as these are the areas I have the most passion in. I believe that the best way to help somebody learn is to activate different areas of the brain by using visual and auditory learning. I create lesson plans based on where the learner is at and the pace they are most comfortable with. During my free time, I regularly practice hobbies such as language learning (Mandarin, Japanese, etc)., story writing, cooking, and drawing.
