          I am a graduate of Sierra Nevada College- University of Nevada. I received my Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I am also a graduate of Missouri State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Geography. 
I have taught a variety of students from 1st grade-college level, spending the majority of my 20+ year teaching career with 5th graders and high school students. I have experience teaching in Missouri, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and internationally. 
I have administered summer school, after school programs and mentored numerous new teachers. 
I hold a Level IIIA Instructional Leader Teaching License for Prek-12 and an additional Level IIIA Instructional Leader Teaching License for K-8. I also am a certified TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and enjoy supporting students with language acquisition. 
While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about sparking and keeping that desire to learn in my students. I am patient, practical, creative, and sensitive to my students' needs. You will be motivated and enjoy learning with me.

Travel- I have been to forty-nine U.S. States and lived in five. I have also visited sixteen foreign countries and lived in one. I also enjoy reading, writing, art, museums, historic sites, live music, documentaries, cooking, and spending time outside.
