As a former struggling high school student, I found respite online tutoring, as I was not always able to stay after school for in person tutoring. During my college career, I had opportunities to offer the same relief to students in my community. By spending time helping them with homework, studying for tests, assignments, etc., my students were able to turn their grades around and gain more confidence within 3-6 months. I tutored elementary math, algebra, reading, elementary science, biology, writing and poetry, essay editing, general chemistry I, social studies, and other varieties of subjects. However, I enjoy tutoring writing, essay editing, and poetry the most; even though I have a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Auburn University at Montgomery. Being a student is a child's number one job, and providing extra guidance and mentorship for students is my number one priority as a tutor.
