With 30 years of experience teaching elementary school, including four years in an online classroom, I have cultivated a deep understanding of the diverse needs of young learners. My extensive background in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), developed through my work in Head Start and various school-age communities, has been integral to my approach in fostering not only academic growth but also emotional and social development.
As an educational tutor, I am committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential. I believe that every child is capable of success, and I strive to tailor my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student. My approach is rooted in patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students build confidence in their abilities.

I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, as it gives me the opportunity to learn about different cultures and their unique traditions. I have a passion for crafts, often engaging in creative projects that allow me to express myself artistically. Additionally, fostering pets brings me joy as I help animals find loving homes. In my quieter moments, I love to read, immersing myself in different worlds and expanding my knowledge.
