Certified Tutor

I am a published poet, songwriter, and author, and I help artists, authors, students and businesses achieve excellence during the writing, editing, speaking, learning and publishing process. I am also a motivational public speaker developing and training groups for schools, early childhood, community events, book festivals, and writing workshops so individuals can get information and professional feedback to produce quality products and services for the public. I also provide personal development, professional development and guidance to individuals, groups, students and organizations to assist them in bringing their visions to fruition. My education consists of a small business certification and associate's degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville, which is where I began tutoring students and formed a passion for helping others achieve their goals in various subjects such as English, Essay Writing, Creative Writing, Public Speaking and more. My favorite subjects to tutor are Creative Writing and Public Speaking because I enjoy creating and boosting the confidence of others so they can see their true potential and share it with others. I also obtained my bachelor's degree from University of North Florida in English with an emphasis on Drama & Creative Writing. I am passionate about learning new words, which is why I was the spelling bee champ for 3rd grade (once a winner, always a winner), so I love attending and being a judge of spelling bees and helping students get prepared. I also love to travel, think about new business ideas, sleep, laugh and create all forms of art, which includes music, acting, public speaking and skits. I also like scratching things off my things-to-do list and helping others achieve their goals. My teaching philosophy is tailored to each individual's learning style, and I am a firm believer that learning should be interactive and fun.
