I am a graduate of the University of Phoenix. I received my Bachelor of Science in Business with a General Management certificate. Since graduation, I completed 2 and in my 3rd year as classroom teacher in Texas. I work extensively with students who require special education services. I am currently attending Texas A&M- Commerce studying for my master's degree in special education. I have certifications through the State Board of Education in Special Education (Early Childhood through 12th grade) and Core Subjects (Reading Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science) with Science of Teaching Reading for 4th through 8th grade. I am a United States Marine Corps veteran and have traveled to many different countries around the world. I am passionate about creating a lasting impact academic and lifetime success of the students, which is why I am also a coach in football, basketball, and track. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and playing golf.
