I completed my masters program from Pune University and then completed my PhD from Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay. Since childhood I was fascinated by nature and that had motivated me to learn about living things. During my career, I realized that learning is not just assimilating knowledge but disseminating it further. I have a passion for teaching. I have guided MSc students to achieve their goals. Also, I have extensive wet lab experience and how the research is conducted in laboratories. I believe basic understanding of life (i.e. Biology) is absolutely necessary for all aspects of education. Finally, it is all about living a better 'life' and helping 'life' on earth sustain and grow. This is something that is reflected in all aspects of technological advancement be it AI, advancement in space exploration, food security etc. 'Life' is at the center of everything. I love reading and watching science fiction in my spare time.
