I am an early literacy reading tutor. My passion is education, and I believe that a supportive learning environment is essential for student success. My teaching philosophy is based on creating an empathetic, engaging, and supportive learning environment for my students. I have a certification in Science of Reading (Phonemic Awareness) and have experience teaching K-5 reading/math/science and undergraduate chemistry 101. I use phonics/science of reading to help students decode and read words and sentences. I am available to help students in K-5 grades with reading or science subjects.
