Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate from the American University of Paris, with a B.A. in journalism and a focus in critical theory. I am extremely passionate about languages, particularly the French and English language (but I am gradually learning Portuguese as well!)

The nuance of language has always intrigued me, growing up in a Haitian household. I find that understanding the world through these in between is crucial for cross cultural understanding and harmony with one another. I am most interested in tutoring French (grammar, oral, and written language) as well as English literature and grammar, writing (academic and creative), and any AP advancement prep.

I have counseled students in the past as a resident and student advisor, and know that treating each student with personal attention is crucial to their growth. I hope to grow as much as I can in this experience, and look forward to tutoring some bright stars!

I am a creative at heart, extremely interested in every visual art (painting, drawing, mixed media), as well as filmmaking and photography. My dream is to direct documentaries on cultural phenomena and travel the world while doing so. I love to see new places -- and find exploring nature to be one of my favorite pastimes.
