I am a current McMaster student working towards a Bachelor of Science, specializing in Chemical Biology. I have been tutoring for about 5 years now and have had the amazing opportunity to help a variety of different students achieve their goals. While I am open to tutoring a range of subjects, I am most passionate about all Science and Math subjects. Science and math have always interested me and because of this interest, I have been able to exceed in these courses thus leading me to pursue my degree. I strive to share this interest and secrets to success with students! Elementary schooling is another passion of mine because I wholeheartedly believe that a child's love for learning begins in elementary school and can only be further nurtured from there. Having a good elementary experience is the best way for a child to succeed in their lifetime of education. When a child understands and enjoys the material that they learn, this experience is made even better! I am a strong believer that everyone is capable of learning the same things but different people may require different techniques and different amounts of time.
I try to remind my students of this as it often helps keep them motivated and they continue to try their best. I also try my absolute best to understand each of my students learning styles in order to build the best learning programs for them and their needs. In my spare time I enjoy reading a variety of books, travelling, hanging out with family and friends, and baking!
