Certified Tutor

I graduated from the University of Texas with degrees in Physics and Mathematics. During my time there, I tutored students in mathematics at various levels and taught afterschool chess programs, where I learned to love helping people fundamentally understand material - the why and how, not just memorization. Teaching is an opportunity for me to continue to engage with the subjects I fell in love with when I was in school, and I hope to impart some of that passion on to any student I take on. I love teaching Mathematics and Physics, but I can be a resource for nearly all subjects up to a point. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing chess, reading, staying in shape, following sports, traveling, and learning new subjects.
