I am a graduate of The University of Wisconsin- Platteville. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a minor in Art. My passion is traveling, so right after college, I set off to see the world by joining the Peace Corps. My Peace Corps assignment was in teaching English as a Foreign language to high school students in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, West Africa. Since then, I have traveled extensively and visited almost all of the surrounding countries. I lived in Africa for a total of six years. My teaching experience has been vast and varied, I have taught ages from preschoolers to adults and all ages in between and in many places such as Hawaii, Washington, DC and Virginia. I usually tell people that my profession is teaching but my vocation is learning. I believe that if you aren't learning then you are dying. Teachers make great Real Estate Agents because we teach the public how to buy or sell homes. The reason why I like teaching Real Estate classes is because taking the exam is not what prepares you to become a real advocate for a homebuyers or sellers. Initial and continuing education and experience with the public. However, once you take the exam you are virtually on your own to fingure what you should do next, so in order to learn you must start with the basics and grow from there. I have mentored new agents, taught homebuying seminar in perons and online webinare for first-time homebuyers, new agents and collegeause. I love to share my knowledge and experience with anyone considering Real Estate so that I can watch them grow.
