Certified Tutor

As an elementary tutor with a strong foundation in K6 education, I am committed to helping students build essential academic skills through research-based practices and compassionate support. I specialize in teaching math, language arts, reading, science, social studies, and ESL, and I use the science of reading to guide my literacy instructiongrounded in systematic, explicit phonics and a deep understanding of how children learn to read.

I am especially effective in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with ADHD and other learning differences. I tailor lessons to each child's pace and style, using engaging, structured methods that build confidence and foster independence. My goal is to make learning accessible and enjoyable, whether I'm helping a student decode new words, grasp complex math concepts, or strengthen focus and executive functioning skills.
