I am a graduate of The City College of New York receiving my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and cognitive science. Since graduation, I am now committed to completing my teachers exam certifications. I have 14 years of experience in the education field, with 3 and half years of lead teaching experience. I have taught different academic subjects; science, social studies, writing , math and close reading comprehension. While I have taught different subjects, I am most passionate about tutoring social studies/ history and writing. In my experience I've worked with students struggling with various academic subjects; test preparation, and written short response.I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.
