Certified Tutor
I have been a mathematics educator for 7 years as a peer tutor professional instructor.
I teach mathematics because I believe that every person can enjoy it. I am no stranger to the anxiety that comes with increasingly complex topics such as math, but I firmly believe that with the right approach, a flexible teaching style, personable behavior (and a little humor), anyone can become a great mathematician.
As a young student, I struggled with a speech disorder and was apprehensive towards the mathematical sciences. However, due to the encouragement of one teacher in high school, and the guidance of my professors in college, I pursued a degree in Mathematics, and a career in AI Engineering. I teach math on the side because I enjoy educating others and connecting with students.
I believe that learning is a personal journey but also understand the realities of our education system. Due to my own experiences and difficulties, I have a unique perspective on mathematics which has made me a better thinker and compassionate educator. I always encourage my students to ask questions about what I teach, and likewise educate me as well.
I teach by example and I believe that students learn to be better thinkers when presented with an environment that values what they have to offer as much as what I do.

A former professional musician I still engage in music through my personal music studio at home where I produce tracks, write songs, and record performances. Additionally, I also like to do karaoke with my friends. I am a nature-lover and spend most my weekends outdoors on runs, hikes, and looking up at the stars. I also enjoy cooking meals for my partner from mushroom risottos to vegan drunken noodles.
