As a dedicated tutor, my passion for helping students stems from my own journey as a learner. Having once grappled with academic challenges and the feeling of being unheard, I understand the importance of personalized support and encouragement. I strive to be the mentor I wish I had when I was navigating through academia, offering a guiding hand to students who may feel overlooked or in need of an extra push. My experience working with students in an online environment has reinforced my commitment to respecting their perspectives and valuing their time. I cherish the opportunity to engage with students, addressing their concerns with empathy and drawing from my own experiences to provide meaningful insights. Educated at Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, I am currently in the pursuit of a masters degree at the University of Michigan in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. My academic background equips me with a solid foundation to tutor subjects such as Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, AP Biology, Biochemistry, and College Biology. Among these subjects, I find particular joy in tutoring Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Developmental Biology. These areas fascinate me because they delve into the intricate mechanisms of life at a molecular and cellular level, offering endless opportunities for discovery and understanding. Beyond academia, I find fulfillment in a variety of interests, including playing basketball, participating in faith-based activities, exploring new cuisines, and enjoying movie outings. These activities not only enrich my life but also contribute to my holistic approach to tutoring, allowing me to connect with students on a personal level and foster a well-rounded learning experience.
