Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of a few universities. I received my Associates Degree from Tarrant County College, my Bachelor of Science, and my first masters in education from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, TX. I also received a second master's from West Texas A&M University in special education. My last and final doctoral degree was obtained from Capella University. My current role as a dyslexia interventionist allows me to educate students who struggle with reading. I have taught and tutored those with specific learning disabilities in reading and math. Something unique about me is that I also have experience with students who are gifted, talented, and considered twice exceptional. I am a certified special education teacher and dyslexia specialist. I am most passionate about helping students with their reading and preparing them for standardized tests. I am a proponent of education, believing that all students can learn.
