Hi Future Students and Parents! I'm Mrs. Novak and I work as a reading specialist in a public school. I have raised two children and I have a toddler granddaughter who calls me "Glama." I also have a cute dog named Emi. I will be retiring from my teaching job in June but I love working with kids and teaching, so I decided to continue doing that with Varisity Tutors! Let me ask you a question: how many of you don't like school because it is hard or just boring? Many students avoid school and learning because something is just a little bit hard to grasp or understand. I totally get it, but you know what? With the right strategies and teaching we can make the hard get a little easier each day; and by the time you know it , you will be transformed into a super learner!
