Certified Tutor

I am a mathematics tutor with experience tutoring students from PreK to College, including Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, and Trigonometry. I have had experience teaching mathematics in elementary, middle school and high school classrooms.

I haven't always been good at mathematics, I struggled in middle school and high school and received low grades. After high school I joined the United States Air Force as a weather forecaster. After 6 years in the military, I went to college where I received my Bachelors degree in Mathematics. During college, I struggled a lot with my schoolwork between raising two daughters, however I fell in love with math and want to help others be successful in math. So I decided to go back to school to get my Masters in Teaching which I am currently completing right now in hopes of being a High School Math teacher someday.

I have first hand knowledge of how intimidating the field of mathematics can be. I have sat through numerous classes where I felt so lost that I didn't even know what questions to ask. Through hard work and some very patient instructors, I was able to not just pass my classes, but become successful while completing my degree. I understand that not everyone understands mathematic concepts right away and will try my hardest to differentiate my instruction so that you can be successful.
