After getting my bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, I was seeking an appropriate research institution to launch my postgraduate studies in the Organic chemistry field. Therefore, I was enrolled in the Master's degree in Organic Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University. Following my passion in teaching, I was hired as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Pharmacy, MTI University in Egypt from March 2015 to August 2022. I was interested in pursuing my future career in academia in which I can uplift my research and intellectual skills therefore after a competitive interview, I chose a presentation topic entitled "Recent trends in teaching methods" and out of 20 applicants, I was selected to join MTI as a teaching assistant of organic chemistry. Working in academia polished all the skills I had acquired in my undergraduate life from presentation skills to laboratory skills and research techniques.
After completing my Master's degree, I sought an opportunity to pursue my PhD in Organic Chemistry. Therefore, in August 2022, I was enrolled as a PhD student in the chemistry department at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan, United States. I continued working in the research and teaching fields and was hired as an instructor for Organic and General Chemistry courses from 2022 till the present.
