I am a high school science teacher that teaches multiple science subjects including chemistry, biology, physics and Earth and Space science. I use my knowledge from my BS in Marine Science with a minor in Marine Biology and a Master's of Arts in Teacher. I enjoys working with students to see their full potential and experience real science within their world. Using Project and Place based learning, I engage students in scientific thought and exploration. During my tutoring sessions, I use technology and advanced science equipment to encourage students to collect and approach data in an interest catching way. Outside of school, I enjoys fishing, playing with my dogs, Joey and Belle, and spending time with my family.

On weekends, I can be found training my two dogs from basic obedience to tricks and sent work. I enjoy the outdoors, especially hanging out in my hammock reading and hiking with my two dogs. Yoga is also another regular activity for myself.
