Certified Tutor

I was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and received my Bachelor of Arts in Creative Media Industries from Texas Tech University . Within my studies, I concentrated in video production and education; leading me to work with educators and professors on campus. Since graduation, I have worked for Texas Tech University, TTU HSC School of Nursing, and The Volunteer Center of Lubbock as an Educational Designer and Volunteer. During and after my studies, my passion for tutoring students grew. Beginning my tutoring experiences in 2018, I focused on helping students with Reading and Writing. Soon after, I began tutoring a variety of subjects ranging from Biology to Photography and have remained a tutor for many students in the Lubbock Independent School District. I am a lover of the arts and am most passionate about graphic design, video production, and film. Because of my background in Creative Media, I always utilize my creativity in all subjects I tutor in. Through out my years of tutoring, I have found that finding my students' learning styles and passions allows for success and growth in and outside of the classroom. As I am currently working on receiving my teaching certificate, I have maintained a passion for education. In my spare time I like to run, paint, and up-cycle thrifted clothes.
