My motto is that if you have a paper to write, regardless of the topic, I will help you make it into one you will be proud to submit. I have a Master's in English and have been teaching for over 20 years. Recently, I took a Saga coaching course to hone my tutoring skills. My tutoring style is learner centered and the first thing I do in our session is boost your confidence. I am patient and I like for you to ask me any questions you have. I want you to learn the skills necessary to write A+ papers! The classes I have taught include writing, humanities, humanities with an Africana emphasis, literary theory, American literature, British literature, women's literature, and African American literature. But I can tutor you in any subject as long as there is a paper involved. I look forward to working with you!

I am a reader, a writer, a walker, a thrifter, a crafter, and a hand embroiderer. I see so much beauty in the world and if I don’t see it, then I create it! I love to buy old cigar boxes and trays at the thrift store and upcycle them into something beautiful. Or embroider a towel so that it is provocative.
