No two students follow the same path to success. I've met many students who have been unsure of what their path would be. I take pride in knowing students as individuals, and helping them find their own path to academic growth.

I earned my Bachelor of General Studies from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Major Concentration in Sustainable Energy Management and a Minor Concentration in Political Science. My Masters of Education was earned from Sacred Heart University, majoring in Secondary Science Education. Since graduating, I have worked as a Building Substitute Teacher for Wheeler High School and Middle School and as a K-12 Substitute Teacher for Kelly Educational Services. These roles have given me experience and confidence working with students of all age groups in all subjects. I enjoy learning and teaching through doing, which can be especially fun when studying science.

Hobbies

I am very interested in the intersection between learning and play, and I like mixing the two. I'm an experienced musician and lifelong amateur cartoonist. I enjoy reading fiction (classics, fantasy, and science fiction are my favorites) and non-fiction on a wide variety of subjects, particuarly science and sociology. I enjoy video games, and am learning to develop my own educational video game software.
