Certified Tutor

I have been in teaching for about 26 years; 17 years as middle/high school math teacher and 9 years as a district and building administrator. I am a career changer having spent the first 10 years of my life as a computer programmer/analyst.

However, before getting into the "real world", I played professional soccer in Europe and in the United States.

I hold five degrees: Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University, Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health from Salem State University, Master's in Education from Salem State University, Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) from Cambridge College, and Doctorate in Education from Endicott College.

I have served as a tutor of students in grades 6 through freshman and sophomores in college. I have tutored online and face to face. I find mathematics intriguing. I am most passionate about teaching the Algebras (Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus) but also enjoy breaking down Geometric shapes and making sense of their composition.

In my spare time, I enjoy coaching. I currently coach high school boys varsity soccer, high school girls freshman basketball, and high school girls varsity lacrosse. I enjoy reading action/spy novels.
